Overall Summary
An application developer would be responsible for creating andmaintaining systems which support the derivatives confirmationsprocessing process. The FX business is looking to migrate middle andback office functions from manual and silo based solutions to thestrategic OTC platform, which will allow for future expected revenuegrowth. An applicant would work closely with business analysts from theFX operations team to complete the analysis, design, coding, testingand implementation of these systems. Specifically, the applicant wouldbe integrating the FX options and cash business with DP Risk reporting.
Requirements
An application developer is expected to develop architecturally sound,modular, maintainable component-driven applications. They are alsoexpected to work across multiple technical teams, analyze and renovateexisting workflows and system interfaces, propose creative solutions ina time-to-market environment and interact with business users andanalysts to translate business requirements into technicalspecifications.
Prior experience, both leading and participating, in the analysis,design and development of MIS reporting applications is required. Asuccessful candidate should have broad-based and in-depth experiencewith the entire system development life-cycle.
This position requires substantial contact with the business units,along with the internal IT staff. As such, a successful candidate musthave effective oral and written communications abilities with theproven ability to present complex ideas clearly.
